To the Merit Scholars, your stories
including your relationships with your professors and others who have served as mentors for your time at Coe, those inspire us and those stories drive our
work as a board. I came to Coe because a desire to
understand and learn about development economics my path at Coe has widened my perspective on that. I want to be a doctor for Native Americans on
reservations because there’s a need that needs to be met and I want to be a
capable doctor for them. After Coe, my plans are to get my masters in
biomimicry. Through this discipline I believe that I can change the world and
help make the world a better place. What I really want to do is I want to come back
to the Mound View community and I want to open a financial literacy clinic
to help those people that are systematically oppressed for their
inability to understand how they can better their financial position. My
ultimate goal is to work in economic development and increase educational
opportunities for women and girls in developing nations.
