Welcome to the final video
of this FAQ series. I’m Dr. Ruth Schwarzenböck and today
I want to share with you how to best assess which eLearning provider
is right for you. Finding an eLearning developer that
best suits your needs all depends on what kind of capabilities they have
in house, and who is on the team behind them to make your eLearning
course a reality. Considering the whole scope of an eLearning
project, you will need someone with expertise in eLearning and adult learning,
the ability to analyse goals, summarise the expected outcomes and then
define appropriate approaches to present the content. Further, ensuring the eLearning
development team has the right experience is another major milestone when
selecting your provider. You will need a team who can develop
video and interactive content using the most appropriate approaches.
Graphic and instructional designers, video producers and animators should
all form a part of your development staff to ensure a smooth production process,
and a great eLearning course. You will also need to consider how
to publish your eLearning course. There are providers out there who can help
you build your own LMS, or simply provide you with space on their LMS
for your students to access. One final thing, it is important to meet
the team that will be building your course. Do they understand what you are trying to achieve?
Are they easy to communicate with and do they have the local depth to ensure
you will not be left high and dry? If all of this seems overwhelming, don’t worry.
At VMP eLearning, we have a diverse team of eLearning specialists, designers
and animators, as well as our own video production team. We love
exceeding your expectations and are fully equipped to guide you through
your whole eLearning journey.
