Elsevier software engineers in Helsinki, Finland mentoring hackers

I’m here in Helsinki, at ElsevierHacks. I’m a mentor, helping out hackers. I am showing them how to use our EOLS APIs. We’ve provided some question sets and some
books, and content. I’m having a great time, yeah. Getting to meet a lot of people from around
the world, and see how they can use our products and how we can apply them better. They have a lot of questions, they have a
lot of ideas, and they want to use a lot of our content and our APIs as well. I’ve learned a lot of what medical students
are looking for in their health care education products. What would help them the most, what problems
they’re looking to solve, and how we can best help them with that. I think I’ve learned a lot of things from
people, from the hackers. Their ideas, what they want to do, what the
med students are actually looking for. I can definitely bring that back and let people
know that this is what students are looking for, this is what’s going to help them best, and we can help provide them with the solutions they need.
