This the main reason why I’m coming to college and why I want to pursue my dream of becoming a Pharmacist one day. My mother has been sick over the past few years and had several surgeries and she no time soon is going to be getting any better. So every day is kinda a struggle for her to you know live and deal with all the pain she goes through and that was it’s pretty much which pushing me to go ahead and finish college because I want to have a you know a really great paying job and support her when she gets older and give her everything she been given to me in order for me to get here and hopefully one day I’ll be able to repay the favor and money will never be an issue and the only issue ever have is having more time with me and that’s all I want to give her. Thank you. Hi there everyone. It’s hard to believe that that video was shot four years ago and I can certainly tell you time has definitely flown by. Some background on that was I wanted to save that video kind of as a gift to my mom. During that time she was going through a lot of medical problems and really just a lot of pain. She was hit with a bit of depression and I figured this would be a good pick me up. So thanks to the individuals Tarleton I got a copy of the video and like any son would do you know I gave it to my mother and told her you can’t say anything about this you can’t mention it because most guys don’t like showing their emotions. And so I let my mother watch it and a few minutes later she comes out of her room just crying and with the biggest smile on her face and I’m not gonna lie I teared up with her and gave her a hug and told her how much I loved her. But it was after that that it really gave me the courage to push forward and really finish but I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere without the generous donations from many donors at Tarleton. They have helped me get through the last three years of college without having to worry about how I’m going to pay for text books how am I going to pay for my classes this semester and they’ve really given me the opportunity to take care of my mother, finish my studies, and actually getting closer to fulfilling my dream. I plan on graduating very soon and I never would have thought this would have been possible. Just know that no matter what you do no matter what you give at Tarleton you’re impacting someone’s life such as mine and you’re not fulfilling just my dream but you’re also feeling probably someone else’s like my mother’s. Thank you again.
