Module Accessing Student Login Rosters

Module Accessing Student Login Rosters

Welcome to the WA-AIM training series module-Access
Student Login Rosters After creating Test Session and before going
into the Data Collection Platform to enter student assessment information, Test Administrators
will need to access Student Login Rosters to obtain each student’s unique username
and password for each content they are being assessed in. Each student will have a username. These usernames will be unique to the student,
not the test session. The typical formatting of the student’s
username will be first initial, last name, and a number. Each student will have a unique four letter
password. These passwords are specific to the test session
and content area. So if a student is in a test session for ELA
and a test session for math they will typically have one username but two different passwords
specific to each test session. There are three common ways users can go about
accessing the student login rosters. We will cover all three ways in this module. Users must first log into eDirect. Once logged in click the arrow next to All
Application to view the eDirect menus. Click Test Management, Manage Test Sessions. From here the user can use the various filters
to narrow the list of Test Session at your location. If there are multiple Test Administrators
at the same school, the user will want to filter test session by the Teacher. Once filters are applied click Show Session. From here there are three ways for the user
to get the login rosters. 1) If the user wants a spreadsheet of all
test sessions they have created, scroll to the bottom and click Export Student Details. This will open a spreadsheet with all information
for all test sessions showing in the Session Detail box. Here you will see the student’s name as well as username and password, in columns O and P needed for the content area. Highlighted this would be the username and password for Student Sample’s grade 3 math assessment. Their username is Ssample1 and their password for the math assessment is boil. In this same list, if you go down to Sample Student and their ELA test, you can see that they have the same username, Ssample1 but a different four letter password for their ELA session. 2) If the user wants a spreadsheet specific
to a single test session click the Export Details icon-a computer disk with a down arrow that says “Export Details” Open it up and again you see I get the spreadsheet with the same information except this time it is only specific to that grade 3 ELA test session. Again you see the student’s name, their username, and password. 3) If the user wants a PDF of simply the student, username and password for a selected Test
Session, select the Print All Tickets icon next to the selected test session. Click on that and it will open another box. The first page of the PDF will have information about the roster. The last page will be all the students, in that test session with their name, their username, and their password. Additionally, if any of these students in the test session are listed taking the engagement rubric you’ll see a yes next to their name in that column. Regardless of the
how the Student Login Rosters are accessed, users should keep in mind this is secure information and these documents should not be shared, emailed,
or left out. Users must take care to secure the information
and destroy these documents after the close of the WA-AIM window. This concludes the module-Accessing student
login rosters. If you have questions regarding any content
