PEF-GO Foundation Scholarship

I was really amazed about it all. Because it is one of the major things that has happened in my life. The scholarship has definitely made me want to work harder. Now I can get to the point where I want to be. Not many indigenous women as young as me have support and have people there who can help them. They don’t really see anything else going for them because they don’t have that support. My teacher, Ms Mason, has helped me get to this point. If I didn’t meet her at school or anything, if I didn’t know she was a teacher of well-being I wouldn’t be here doing this interview. Schooling is one of the most important things in my life right now and I am really happy that I am still in school and actually doing my homework and focusing in class. Public Education gives an opportunity to us indigenous kids and other kids. We get help to see what our goals can be and they help us get to our goals.
